It's now been a year since my procedure. And extremely happy with the My results of my procedure as well as the service. I was able to get in for the procedure when it best suited my schedule and financial ability. The procedure was not bad, I think I was just more hyped up than anything but the team was very understanding and caring. The recovery process was difficult, because there was a little bit of burning and tearing but the medication they gave helped me to rest through that recovery.. I also was seen by my provider about 6 months after the procedure and they asked me to go be reevaluated and the LASIK vision institute got me in very quickly and insured nothing was wrong with my results and they were exactly as they had been when I had the procedure completed. I've been able to see without any issue. The only residual problem I have is intermittent burning because of the difference in pH in my eyes. That has significantly improved with time. If you're on the fence, I definitely recommend going for it.
Did everything in an easy to understand way, very clear and precise about everything. The operation itself only took about thirty minutes, and the laser itself only took like 5 seconds on each eye. The setup takes a lot longer, but they do everything they can to make you comfortable. Surprisingly affordable. Would definitely recommend it to anybody who's considering getting it done! EDIT: Currently five months post op(01/16/25), and honestly kinda regret the operation. Be sure to ask plenty, plenty of questions. Ask the hard questions you might be afraid to ask, because this operation is permanent. Life long and Irreversible. My left eye has currently regressed to pre surgery, and my right eye is not as strong as it once was. My glasses work as they did before. Remember, at the end of the day, this place is still a business. They did not use the safety features that were intended(eyebrow ridge was too prominent) and when I bring my concerns up they assure it is just dry eye.
Everyone was amazing. My procedure went great and everyone was so kind. My brow bone is kind of prominent and made some parts of the procedure more uncomfortable but the doctor and staff kept me calm and breathing!
Was able to have my consultation the same day as the surgery, which saved me from chickening out! The whole procedure took about 2 minutes or so, I could feel myself starting to panic in the middle of it but the staff was super helpful with distracting me to ensure the process was as quick as possible! Overall a great experience, I woke up the following day with zero pain and clear vision!
