Dr. 's Bio and Credentials
Dr. Russ Bessell is an expert, board-certified optometrist with over twenty years of experience diagnosing, managing, and treating conditions and diseases of the eye and visual system. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and has lectured nationally on primary eye care. His gained experiences through his work as the Senior Optometrist at US Navy Medical and his knowledge in managing pre- and post-operative refractive surgery patients makes him an excellent addition to the LasikPlus Richmond team.
In his free time, Dr. Bessell is an avid racquetball player, member of various civic organizations, and cooking for his family.
