Dr. Peter Shriver’s unique training, background, and clinical experience bring an unparalleled expertise to laser vision correction, specifically LASIK and PRK. At LasikPlus, he and his team are dedicated to ensuring each patient receives the highest degree of medical care.
During his Fellowship at the University of California, Dr. Shriver was awarded the Beckman Laser Fellow, during which he conducted the original FDA trials evaluating the safety and usability of lasers for both LASIK and PRK procedures. Since then, he has performed over 12,000 LASIK procedures, in both North and South America, as well as trained hundreds of eye surgeons in the LASIK procedure.
Dr. Shriver’s years of advanced training, surgical expertise, and teaching experience at world-renowned institutions remains unmatched in the world of Ophthalmology, and puts him in a class of his own.
Additionally, he has been an invited national lecturer in the field of Ophthalmology and LASIK.
His LASIK patients include fellow eye surgeons, Hall of Fame athletes, Special Forces Personnel, MLB, NHL, and LPGA players, Olympic athletes, Air Force pilots, and his own family members, including his wife and son. Having had LASIK himself, Dr. Shriver understands the emotional decision to entrust your eyes to a surgeon. He makes himself available to his patients, both before, and after their LASIK procedure.

I had the best experience ever! Beginning with the front office staff to the procedure! Everything was explained in great detail and in a caring manner! I was really nervous since this procedure deals with the eyes but the staff was soo supportive and empathetic. The procedure itself took no longer then 10 min and my fears quickly evaporated when speaking with the surgeon. Some discomfort afterwards but NO pain at all! As a person who has worn glasses/contact since the age of 9, this has been the best decision I’ve ever made and for a reasonable price! Highly recommend!
Everything was so smooth at LasikPlus-the staff went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and the process was very easy and painless! It’s very nice to wake up and see without glasses!!

For the first time ever, I woke up this morning, opened my eyes, and could see everything! Clearly! Truly life-changing. It was a little scary on the table, and I felt like I was cutting onions for about 4 hours yesterday afternoon, but I was seeing clearly by bedtime last night and I now have perfect vision with no contacts or glasses (I was -7.5 in my left eye and -6.5 in my right eye). My gf keeps laughing at me cuz I’m so excited about being able to see every little thing 😂 Highly recommend LASIK! #lasikplus
