Dr. Peter Shriver’s unique training, background, and clinical experience bring an unparalleled expertise to laser vision correction, specifically LASIK and PRK. At LasikPlus, he and his team are dedicated to ensuring each patient receives the highest degree of medical care.
During his Fellowship at the University of California, Dr. Shriver was awarded the Beckman Laser Fellow, during which he conducted the original FDA trials evaluating the safety and usability of lasers for both LASIK and PRK procedures. Since then, he has performed over 12,000 LASIK procedures, in both North and South America, as well as trained hundreds of eye surgeons in the LASIK procedure.
Dr. Shriver’s years of advanced training, surgical expertise, and teaching experience at world-renowned institutions remains unmatched in the world of Ophthalmology, and puts him in a class of his own.
Additionally, he has been an invited national lecturer in the field of Ophthalmology and LASIK.
His LASIK patients include fellow eye surgeons, Hall of Fame athletes, Special Forces Personnel, MLB, NHL, and LPGA players, Olympic athletes, Air Force pilots, and his own family members, including his wife and son. After initial fears and trepidations of having LASIK eye surgery, I told myself to go in for a consultation and if asked, do the surgery same day. They asked and it was too late to back out. I’m glad I chose to do it and I’m very glad I chose LasikPlus. Folks are super friendly and Dr. Rose is amazing. Dr Jeng performed the lasik and it was over before I knew it. If you’re considering lasik and have reservations like me, go in for a consultation. It truly is as easy as you may have already read about.
You can trust your vision to these experienced professionals! They demonstrated concern for my welfare throughout the entire process. They provided superb medical advice and provided me with financing options to make better vision possible. I have been thinking about LASIK for several years but was hesitant to risk the surgery. I am a military retiree so I have been wearing bifocals until I retired and had progressive lens glasses from the VA. I have become more concerned about wearing glasses because of problems driving, traversing stairs, and other problems related to peripheral vision. I decided to visit LasikPlus after seeing it advertised by Aetna vision. I sat with Debbie for my initial appointment and was thrilled when she showed me how my vision could be corrected with LASIK. She patiently worked with me to get through the exam because I have a very difficult time allowing anything close to my eyes. When I came in for the procedure I was examined by a doctor who suggested I only get one eye corrected instead of the plan initially developed to correct both eyes. I was very impressed by the genuine concern she had for my welfare by doing the least possible surgery despite it resulting in less money for their business. The doctor suggested I only correct my dominant eye and see how it feels because I can easily come back to correct my left eye. After following my doctor’s advice I am throughly pleased with the outcome of my LASIK journey, for now, and won’t hesitate to come back if I decide to correct my left eye. The staff and doctors are knowledgeable professionals who really kept my safety and well-being foremost in their minds.

Easy, comfortable experience. Kind staff. Debbie the senior surgical tech was phenomenal! Competitive pricing. Everything was explained well. The procedure was so quick! Highly recommend coming here. Many slots available. All can be done same day. As a fellow physician myself, I recommend the ophthalmologists here. You can even start with a virtual consult.
The first day was quite hard and exasperating but the next day I felt better, if I had known what I would do sooner, this was the best decision.
