Dr. Tim Morgan's Bio and Credentials
Dr. Morgan has been an optometrist for 20 years. He joined LasikPlus in 2002.
After residency, Dr. Morgan was an Air Force optometrist where he provided eye care to elite fighter pilots including the Thunderbirds. He has lived in Louisville since 1994 where his practice focus was on ocular disease and specialty contact lens fitting as well as teaching ophthalmology residents at the University of Louisville.
As an optometrist, Dr. Morgan enjoys the luxury of being able to spend time with each patient to guide them through the LASIK process. He appreciates the commitment of the highly trained staff to give our patients the best experience possible.
In his free time, Dr Morgan enjoys distance running, tennis, and spending time with his wife of 21 years and their three children.

This was the BEST experience ever. I have been on the fence about lasik for a couple of years and I am SO GLAD I finally did it! The whole office was so nice, professional, and caring. Joanna, Lisa, Alicia, Dr. Morgan, Dr. Smith, all amazing individuals that took care of me from start to finish. They answered every question I had and they had me nice and calm through everything! I had my surgery Saturday afternoon. I was amazed that I could stand up after the procedure and read the clock across the room!! My prescription was like a -5.5 (basically couldn’t see anything unless right in front of my face) in both eyes! At my follow up on Monday afternoon I could see 20/15! They say it will continue to get crisper and I am so extremely happy with everything! Thank you SO MUCH LasikPlus of Louisville!!!!!

From beginning to end, LasikPlus made this a wonderful experience. I did a google search that lead me to them, watched many videos on their Facebook page, and read many reviews across several platforms.. all of them were outstanding and 100% true. It was easy to get scheduled for a consult and luckily I was able to have my consult and procedure same day. The days leading up to my appointment were filled with communications from LasikPlus regarding expectations, financing, and any questions I may have had. I felt prepared coming into the appointment. The staff were all amazing and kind, with exceptional bedside manner. I get anxious when external objects are near my eyes (eyedrops are awful for me); but everyone was very patient and explained the process until it calmed my nerves. The consult was very thorough, with several scans that measured different aspects of my eyes. I felt confident that it was going to be right. The procedure itself took about 10 minutes from the time I walked in to the OR, to walking out to go home. I felt no pain during the procedure, but afterward I did have the normal burning sensation like they told me I would. I went to sleep and when I woke up it was gone. Dr. Smith was my surgeon and he was excellent! Dr. Morgan, Joanna, and the other ladies there were all wonderful as well! I just came back for my follow up appointment almost 48 hrs later and I am seeing 20/20! I highly recommend LasikPlus if you are considering lasik.
The office staff was great and made the entire experience very comfortable. In and out of the procedure itself in under 10 minutes with results that were absolutely worth it.
