Jon Ellis, M.D., FAAO is a graduate of the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and has been performing laser refractive surgery since 2008 and has performed more than 7,000 procedures with the United States Air Force. He has led laser centers at both Keesler Air Force Base and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. While under his leadership, the Keesler Air Force base laser center rose to be the second most productive and cost-efficient laser center in the USAF. He was integral in the implementation of key enhancements which increased the refractive surgery success rates at both Keesler and Landstuhl which resulted in a 96% success rate of 20/20 uncorrected vision. In additional to being an expert LASIK and refractive surgeon, he is certified in ICL (Intraocular Lens Implant) surgery.

Has my lasik done yesterday and just let me say.. DO NOT SCARE YOURSELF OUT OF THIS BECAUSE OF THE 2-4% out of LITERALLY MILLIONS who have had this done. Something I have always lived by is when are you most likely to leave a review on a service or product you have received, and almost EVERYONES answer i have ever asked that question to is when they either have a bad experience or didn’t like what they received. I had my LASIK procedure done yesterday and let me just say LASIKPLUS is the absolute best place I could have chosen. I don’t trust negative reviews because they are such an ABSOLUTELY SMALL percentage of the outcomes. With every procedure there is a chance of a bad outcome or a complication, but the doctors and staff at LASIKPLUS did absolutely everything in their ability to limit that for me. Even when I was back in the room and they were ready to do my procedure they stopped and actually listened to whatever concerns I had on my mind AT THAT TIME. Not once did I ever feel rushed, or pushed into doing this. Honestly with how professional and knowledgeable and caring the team was really cemented it for me in that moment. I felt safe, taken care of and confident that if something WERE to go wrong the team I had at my side had my back. They communicated every step of the way , made sure I felt okay and was comfortable. And when we were done they checked over their work once more and I was ready to go home. I didn’t really get to experience the difference as I slept the entire way home, and then all night as well. And when I woke up that morning I reached for my glasses on my nightstand and suddenly realized I never needed to do that again. I have a 17 month old son who I have ever only seen through plastic lenses or if I had my glasses off blurry. That morning I took the sunglasses off they gave me to sleep in and I took a breath and I turned over and looked at my son’s face for the first time with my OWN EYES. Nothing in between us. And he looked at me and smiled and I just couldn’t stop myself from crying. This has been an Absolutely life changing experience and I could not thank the team at LasikPlus for giving me such a gift. Please.. I beg you.. don’t just read reviews and let that make your decision up, go see the team, meet the doctors and SEE FOR YOURSELF. Literally. LasikPlus will always have my thanks. I drove myself here to my follow up appointment less then 24 hours later. I have 20/20 ALREADY!! And it’s going to get better. Things have crispness to them that i never got even with a $400 pair of glasses. Today I wore sunglasses for the first time in MY LIFE. I have worn glasses since I was 8 years old. It took 10 minutes in the lasik room and my life was forever changed for the better. Thank you LasikPlus!

I will start by saying I was INCREDIBLY anxious about getting this done. I was so nervous something would go wrong. But everyone I encountered from start to finish helped to reassure me. The process itself was quick and over with in what felt like a few short minutes. I highly recommend this to anyone considering it!
