With a medical school training in the Washington, DC area and Ophthalmology Residency completed in San Antonio, TX, Dr. Nelson embodies a commitment to excellence in eye care. Everybody was very helpful and informative with answering questions and and concerns. Experience was a lot less uncomfortable and the pain afterwards was a lot less than anticipated. During the surgery process the surgeon and assistants talked to me thru the whole process as to keep me at ease and before I knew it we were done and I was on my way home. Next day my vision was already better then it was with glasses before surgery and hasn't gotten better everyday since. So far very pleased with my decision to have the procedure done.
Was able to see clearly just a few hours after surgery, which was only 20-30 minutes and I was out the door on my way home! The staff here are very friendly and informative. They did an excellent job! Definitely worth the investment to be able to see and never have to worry about breaking my glasses again or losing them!!!
The staff was helpful and kind during the entire process. They were always quick to answer any questions I had. I felt like I understood what was happening every step of the way. I also felt like I had the support I needed with the available check ins after the procedure.
I finally took the plunge and got lasik surgery! I’m so thankful I went to LASIK Plus! The staff and doctors were fantastic! After hearing my options, I opted to have the monovision procedure, where one eye is for distance and one eye is for reading and close vision. It took some getting used to, but I could see so well after the procedure. After two weeks, it seems to keep getting clearer and clearer. I don’t know why I waited so long!
I felt very comfortable with them. My outcome of the surgery so far over four weeks later has been great. The surgeon doing the actual procedure the day of as well as the assistants were very kind and comforting and they walked me through the whole thing as they were doing it which helped with any anxiety. Also all of my check ups I felt like they answered questions and explained all of the information very well and just were very friendly. I was able to get my Lasik very soon after my consultation and the process went smoothly and safely. All employees were amazing and friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend this place for lasik!
