"I wanted to have LASIK done for years but decided that I could not afford it so I never looked into it. My vision was so bad that I could barely see anything in front of me, all I could see was shadows. In 2006, I had to have a C-Section to deliver my son and I was not permitted to wear contacts or take my glasses into the operating room. My husband had to put my son right up in my face so that I could see him, and this did not happen until after he was already cleaned and wrapped up in his blanket, and I felt that I missed out on the delivery of my son because I was unable to see him when the doctor lifted him up for my husband and I to see him and while the nurses were getting him cleaned up under the warming lamp. All I could see was shadows all around me. To have a child and not be able to see him until I went back into the Labor and Deliver room and put my glasses on was a very sad and upsetting experience for me. I had infertility problems and was not sure if I would ever conceive so needless to say I could not wait to meet my son. So, to have to wait until I was back in the Labor and Delivery Room to see him was not easy. I felt like I missed out on a beautiful event. I could hear everything going on around me but could not see any of it. And, once we got him home I was sleeping in my glasses because I was afraid I was going to miss something. Within a few months after he was born I went to LasikPlus Vision Center to have LASIK and it was a good thing I went when I did because I was on the border-line of not being able to have the procedure due to my eye-sight. I was scheduled to have the procedure the following week and I had to have another eye check right before I went back because I was told if my vision had changed even a little in that week then they would not be able to perform the procedure. Luckily, I had the procedure and had instant results and went back to work the next day. It was not painful and I have suggested to everyone I know who may need LASIK to have it done. The staff was nice, helpful and very informative and paying for it was easy with the zero percent interest plan. I am happy to say that I just had my daughter in January of 2008 by C-Section and this time thanks to LasikPlus Vision Center I was able to see everything and it was wonderful. I was able to leave the operating room not feeling like I missed out on one of the greatest experiences of my life."

After getting lasik, the next morning I looked at the alarm clock and guess what? I could see what time it was!
