The primary difference between Custom LASIK and Traditional LASIK, is the use of a WaveFront analyzer - originally invented by NASA for use in high-powered telescopes. WaveFront technology is now available for medical use. The WaveFront analyzer produces a sophisticated treatment map of your corneas, like a fingerprint, and it is 25 times more precise than standard measurements.
