Dean Ellis, M.D.
Dr. Ellis is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has performed over 42,000 LASIK and PRK procedures since 1998. He has received the Physician’s Recognition Award from the American Medical Association for the past 6 years and has been listed in the Guide to America’s Top Ophthalmologists.
Dr. Ellis has published journal articles on corneal surgery and computerized corneal mapping and has lectured on LASIK at ophthalmology training programs. He also has provided free eye exams to low-income seniors thru the Eyecare America program since 2003. Volunteers in this program were awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the American Academy of Ophthalmology in 2006.
